Training of Trainers on International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11)

The Ministry of Health with support from World Health Organization (WHO) is organizing Training of Trainers on International Classification of Diseases version 11 (ICD-11) from 25th to 30th December 2019 at the Professional Development Centre – Tsirang. The training is in preparation to adopt ICD-11 by 2022 as per the resolution of World Health Assembly in 2019. ICD-11 contains around 55,000 unique codes for injuries, diseases and causes of death. Currently, a modified version of ICD-10 is being used by the ministry.
