Capacity development program on Understanding and Analysis of FSs begins today

A weeklong capacity development program on Understanding and Analysis of FSs started earlier today at PDC.

The program is aimed to enable auditors to perform deeper analysis of financial statements of public sector audit entities in order to enable them in providing highly reasonable assurance on the audited FSs. To achieve that, the participants will learn and understand:

1. the elements of inter-linkages amongst different account balances and their effect on the overall financial statements;
2. various aspects of reconciliation and analysis of FSs; and

Capacity Development Program on electronic Public Expenditure Management System (e-PEMS) started today

The five day capacity development program on e-PEMS started today. The program is aimed to equip auditors with knowledge and skills of e-PEMS to enable them to use it effectively while auditing the agencies.

The Program Director opened the session by highlighting the importance of e-PEMS to be an added advantage for auditors knowing the modules of e-PEMS thoroughly before auditing the agencies.
