The Department of Public Accounts (DPA), Ministry of Finance has started the second phase of training on electronic Public Expenditure Management System (e-PEMS) at the Professional Development Center on March 2, 2020. The first phase training was conducted in FY 2018-2019 and covered almost seventy percent of the accounts personnel across the budgetary bodies.
The training is conducted in four batches of 60 participants per week and will cover almost 240 accounts personnel. Following are objectives of the training.
• Cover the training for all accounts personnel
• Sensitize on the new enhancements incorporated in the post implementation
• Gather feedbacks and suggestions to further enhance and stabilize the system
The training is being conducted with financial support under multi donor fund (MDF) which is contributed by European Union (EU) and Austrian Development Agency (ADA), and administered by the World Bank (WB).
The training is scheduled to conclude on March 27, 2020.
