Capacity Development Program on Audit Follow-up and Clearance Services started today.

A five-day capacity development program on Audit Follow-up and Clearance Services started today at PDC. It is focused on bringing efficiency in follow-up audit and audit clearance services to our stakeholders. The program will provide participants with clear and common understanding of the upgrades and new features incorporated in the Audit Resource Management System (ARMS) and Audit Information Management Systems (AIMS). The training program includes 14 officials of FUCD and Regional Offices who conduct follow-up audit and provide audit clearance services, of whom two from OAAG, Phuentsholing and Samdrup Jongkhar are attending it virtually.

Follow-up is a main tool of the RAA to ensure that audit issues are timely and sufficiently addressed by the audited agencies and accountable officials. It also enables the RAA to keep track of all unresolved audit issues and provide Audit Clearance service to the general public.

The training which is part of the annual capacity development program will conclude on 11th June 2021.
