Capacity development program on Construction Audit for Internal Auditors started today at the Professional Development Centre.
The training program is aimed to enhance capabilities of Internal Auditors in respect of constructions audit. Participants who are mostly from different ministries and dzongkhags will learn key components of constructions audit such as interpretation of drawings, understanding cost and estimations, review rate analysis and departmental works, and audit of road works.
The Director, Directorate of Services, Ministry of Finance opened the program where he highlighted the importance of construction audit and how timely interventions from Internal Auditors through recommendations will bring improvements in construction sector.
The program is a collaborative capacity development effort between the Ministry of Finance and the Royal Audit Authority. It is scheduled to conclude on 15th October 2021.
