Capacity development program on Mindfulness and Values Retreat (Bhavana-Karma Retreat)

The 4th Mindfulness and Values Retreat Program for 19 Senior Civil Servants including the Joint Auditor General from the Royal Audit Authority began from 19th December 2021 at the Professional Development Centre, Tsirang.

The main objective of this five-day retreat program is to cultivate and harness the qualities of mindfulness based emotional intelligence in the civil service. It is based on the method of Bhavana Karma, the first stage of meditation. Given its benefits and the valuable feedback received from the participants of the earlier retreat, the RCSC strives to ensure that all interested civil servants are able to attend the retreat at least once in their entire service.

This retreat program is being conducted by the RCSC in collaboration with the Institute of Science of Mind under Zhung Dratshang.

The training is scheduled to conclude on 25th December 2021.
