The Department of Public Accounts (DPA), Ministry of Finance is organizing a week long Training of Trainers (ToT) on ‘e-Payment’ at the RAA’s Professional Development Centre in Tsirang.
The DPA’s new e-payment flagship initiative is aimed at improving efficiency of the Government’s financial system and the client services. Significant reforms in the Government Accounting system are being implemented in close collaboration with the Bank of Bhutan Limited, the Royal Monetary Authority and the Department of Information Techonoly and Telecom under Ministry of Information and Communications.
The e-Payment TOT will train twenty participants/consultation focal officials identified from budgetary bodies including Ministries, Autonomous bodies, Judiciary and Dzongkhags, who will be involved in assisting the e-payment teams during user trainings.
The ADB funded training is being delivered by in-house experts from the MoF from 11 to 15 February 2019.
