The program is aimed to equip auditors with knowledge and skills of e-PEMS to enable them to use it effectively while auditing the agencies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Program Director opened the session by highlighting the importance of e-PEMS to be an added advantage for auditors knowing the modules of e-PEMS thoroughly before auditing the agencies.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two Officers from the Department of Public Accounts, Ministry of Finance are imparting training to 15 Auditors from RAA HQ and Regional Offices. The training will cover the following modules;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">e-Payment overview and Cash Flow Management;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0User Management in the e-PEMS;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Payee Account Master, Party Master and Assignment;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Budgetary Release Forecast and Fund Release;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Voucher summary and voucher details;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Transaction categories (Advance payment, Bills &amp;amp; other payments, Refundable payments, Travel, Utilities, Fuel etc.);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deposit work process and payment;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Government Payroll System (GPS), LTC payments, LE payment and LPC;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Voucher Reversal, Journal and Other Voucher;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bank statement and Bank reconciliation; and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Latest enhancements in the e-PEMS system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training is being conducted with financial support from Austrian Development Agency (ADA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training is scheduled to conclude on the 10th of September 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The five day capacity development program on e-PEMS started today.
