{"id":3547,"date":"2022-06-27T17:10:24","date_gmt":"2022-06-27T11:10:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/?p=3547"},"modified":"2022-06-27T17:10:40","modified_gmt":"2022-06-27T11:10:40","slug":"raa-conducted-its-year-end-planning-and-coordination-meet-2022-at-pdc-tsirang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.pdc.gov.bt\/?p=3547","title":{"rendered":"RAA conducted its Year-end Planning and Coordination Meet 2022 at PDC, Tsirang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Royal Audit Authority conducted a three day Year-End Planning and Coordination meeting at the Professional Development Centre (PDC) from 22nd to 24th June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Amongst many important deliberations, agenda included the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Identification of Audit Thrust Areas for the Financial Year 2022-23 to focus audit resources on critical issues that are pervasive in most budgetary agencies;<\/li>\n<li>Adoption of RAA\u2019s Operational Plan 2022-23;<\/li>\n<li>Signing of Performance Compacts 2022-2023 between Auditor General and Department Heads followed by Department Heads with the Head of Divisions; and<\/li>\n<li>Awareness and presentation on auditing from perspective of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) for social inclusiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the early hours of the opening session, the Venerable Lam Neten of Tsirang Rabdey administered the \u2018Oath of Good Conduct, Ethics and Secrecy\u2019 and pledged to conduct audit without \u2018Fear, Favor or Prejudice\u2019 for the new recruits of year 2021 and 2022. Lam Neten also launched the upgraded Audit Information Management System (AIMS) which is expected to enhance efficiency in managing audit engagements right from audit planning through follow-up process and quality assurance review of audits.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the year-end meeting, two days of capacity development program was conducted for the auditors from 20th to 21st June 2022. The first day focused on enhancing quality of audit reports by identifying challenges and recommending possible solutions. Second day focused on exploring ways to leverage ICT and to identify cost-cutting measures in delivering audit services.<\/p>\n<p>On 24th June 2022, His Majesty granted audience to the officials and staff of RAA through a virtual meeting platform.
